She was so sweet, beautiful and believed was a model - part time model. But acoording to a local newspaper's journalist who when to Mongolia to invetigate about Altantuya, it is found that Altantuya had never been a model.

Altantuya, was reported to have been a professionl translator, who spoke several languages, including English, Russian and Chinese. She was reported to have been hired by the accused, political analyst, Abdul Razak Baginda, to be a translator in meetings of weapons trade and arms deal.

She was not only sweet and beautiful, she was also intelligent.

Few days ago, I received this photo from a friend through email. I was shock and sad of course to see a beautiful woman turned out like this.

Christmas Isn't Christmas Till It Happens In Your Heart

I am very glad that and thankful that i am livng in a country where almost everyone is respecting each other festival. I have got colleagues and friends from various races and religions sending me the greetings. I even have a Malay neighbour who is willing to cook "Rendang Ayam" for me for Christmas.

Well, not to forget, there are some people that never appreciate or respect other people, having polluted their mind with propogated truth that Christmas is haram. These people are like this and this

I am proud that our Prime Minister given out his message wishing Malaysian Christians Christmas greetings and that Malaysian government was hosting Christmas open house too. So, if Christmas were haram as propagated by those people, Malaysia will not have hosted anything such Christmas open house! People like Yang di-Pertua Negri Tun Ahmadshah Abdullah and his wife Toh Puan Dayang Masuyah Awang Japar are among true Malaysians who joyfully celebrated Christmas with thousands of Sabahan Christian. Christmas means nothing at all if it does not really happens in your heart. Christmas bring the joy of having Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour. Christmas is just mere a festival celebration if you do not accept Jesus as Lord. He has come into the world so that each and everyone who receives him will have eternal life, in other word, reign with Him in in His Heavenly Kingdom.

For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
1 Timothy 6:10

I could not agree more on the verse. Indeed, the love for money more than the love for God will produce many-many sorrows. There are so many victims of The Love For Money. The incidents around us nowadays proof the above verse from 1 Timothy 6:10. I will list some of them below here:

1. Lau Khoon Beng was shot three times in the head at Changkat Tembaga. According to the police, owed bookies a lot of money after a losing streak at horse races. He was also involved in a drug deal which has gone bad. According to his wife, her husband was involved in money-lending activities. [All for MONEY]

The case of 38-year-old hawker Kau Mei Lin and her husband, tour van driver Seah Weng Chong, also 38 who forced their children to consume bleach and inhale cooking gas in a "sucessfull" attempt to force them to commit suicide. Altantuya Shaariibu's murder: Cops claim trial

SHAH ALAM: C/Insp Azilah Hadri, 30, and Kpl Sirul Azhar Umar, 35, claimed trial to the charge of murdering Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibu at Shah Alam High Court Thursday.
The court, presided by Judicial Commissioner Datuk Mohd Zaki Md Yasin, also extended political analyst Abdul Razak Baginda's RM1 mil bond on condition that the sum is deposited to the court.

Razak, 46, who is charged with abetment in the murder, arrived at the court at 8.30am accompanied by his wife Mazlinda Makhzan, daughter Roweena, 19, his parents and his elder brother, Dr Rani Abdullah.

The case will be mentioned again at the Shah Alam High Court on Jan 5.

We might ask - who to be blamed ah..? If you caught the story from the beginning, of course you will blame the parent bacause of his gambling habit. Will the blame make any differences? Of course not!

What we can do is to learn from this tragedy, these parents learned their lesson the very hard way. Gambling is just like drug - you can be addicted to it, will do anything for it even if it will cost you your life or the life of your loved ones. In this case, it cost them the lives of their children, not one but ALL. What is left for them? O! (Zero)

I know quite few families who engaged themselves with the money lenders. Miserable! That's the word to describe their lives. All their bank passbooks, ATM cards are witheld by the money lenders. After getting the payment for the loan, then only the money lenders will give them the 'balance', if there is. Hey, you are working for the money lenders!!! At the end of the day, they will dig yet another hole to make the ends meet, and yet another hole and yet another hole.... But to my 'amazement', they never learn their lesson.

The bible says, They love for money is the root of all evils.... Money is not the problem, we work for money for a comfortable life here on earth, but if you love money more than anything else, problem will start to arise.

I visited this site www.menj.org yesterday and was 'moved' to leave a comment on the author post let me recall...i think about his reply to someone call Whalski. He was talking about bringing down the Satan Economic (sumthing like that) which is US by bringing out US Dollar of the country.

When read through the post, i was imagining a child (about 4 - 5 years old) telling his father that he wants to kill the 'raksaksa' in the most popular children tv show, "Power Ranger" by merely using a toy weapon. Well, having earned few hundreds dollar, this miserable guy have a big dream to bring down US economy? Will you not laugh?

Then, in the afternoon, (yesterday), i wanted to see if he allow my comment to be posted, i was smiling to see that i am not authorized to view his blog anymore...can someone tell me why?

Rayappan's family to file application for RIGHT to his body

I read this in The Star, 2nd December on my way back from Singapore...and said...gosh...another very unnecessary dispute....just couldn't imagine this could happen in our so-called very harmonius place to stay....My big question is WHY should there be any dispute over a body? Please, can someone provide me with 'good' answers?

I just want to blog the updates of this case...

KUALA LUMPUR: The family of the late Rayappan Anthony should be allowed to be buried according to their Christian faith and his professed faith, said Christian Federation of Malaysia chairman Bishop Paul Tan Chee Ing.

He added that according to information gathered, Rayappan, 71, was a Roman Catholic and had six children from his Christian marriage.

He said the deceased converted to Islam in 1990 when he married a Muslim woman.

“However, he reconverted to Christianity in 1999 and subsequently confirmed his profession of his Christian faith by way of a statutory declaration in front of a Commissioner of Oaths,” Tan said here yesterday.

“The relevant documents prepared by a lawyer and executed by the Commissioner for Oaths were submitted to the National Registration Department, which accepted the declaration and reinstated Rayappan’s religious status to Christianity.”

He also said the MyKad of the deceased (issued in 2000) had the word “Christianity” printed below his name and any obstruction to his burial according to Christian rights would contravene Article 11 of the Constitution which guarantees the right of a person to profess and practise his faith, and in this particular case the right of the family to bury Rayappan according to his professed religion at the point of his death.

I just couldn't imagine going through this type of dispute... hey, the body is not something to dispute!!! After all, does it really matter where he should be buried? He still has to go before God's very throne for the jugdement - and you know Who the Judge is.... of course the Imam Mahdi! Please apply just a little bit of common sense and logic, and you will know who has the right over the body! He has his family, and who are you? So inhuman.....

And your Lord says: "Call on Me; I will answer your (Prayer): but those who are too arrogant to serve Me will surely find themselves in Hell - in humiliation!"

And (Jesus) shall be a Sign (for the coming of) the Hour (of Judgment): therefore have no doubt about the (Hour), but follow ye Me: this is a Straight Way.

Let not the Evil One hinder you: for he is to you an enemy avowed.

When Jesus came with Clear Signs, he said: "Now have I come to you with Wisdom, and in order to make clear to you some of the (points) on which ye dispute: therefore fear Allah and obey me.

"For Allah, He is my Lord and your Lord: so worship ye Him: this is a Straight Way."

Note: Prior to this, Jesus Himself confirmed in John 14:6,
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

And God will never answer if we are NOT on the straight way. With this, I hope I have answered you question.

Updates On Datuk Azhar Mansor Case

I am very much touched by the way Datuk Azhar Mansor wisely and winningly answered each and every questioned asked by the reporter during the press conference held at the PWTC to which some people made a daring but questionable conclusion that he has not leave the faith of his birth.

Well, everyone has the freedom to come out to certain conclusion based on their own understanding. We might have different understanding based on the same piece of information we read and i really want to know your say based on this same conference that I read. You can read the whole Q & A here, but I am going to extract the Q & A here for us to think about. (Please allow me my freedom of writing and giving opinion)

Before that, I must make my intention clear. My intention of writing this is only to get your side of perspective on the the said case. There is no other but just that!

Here we go:

Q: The polemic has arisen because of the status of your religion. Can you make it clear whether you are still a Muslim or not?

A: Sometimes, I wonder... I can make this answer a very long, long one, or I can also make it short. But I sometimes wonder, where is the confusion? Of course, from what I understand, the rumours about me no longer being a Muslim have been there since 1999 when I was still sailing. This issue has been doubted and questioned until today. From being circulated in the Internet to now in an SMS. I have not given it much thought because it was an Internet source. But to go specific to the SMS, whereby my name was involved, on the incident in Ipoh which should not have happened, I was surprised myself because I got the SMS after the incident. I was informed through my family members in Ipoh that many people had gathered to protest since I was supposed to be there to baptise people. This was out of my knowledge. Now it is under police investigation. If only in the Internet, it is okay but when there is an SMS which affected public order, I would also like to know the cause and agenda of such an SMS.
I believe that was not the answer that the reporter expected from the question, that is why i think the ask the next question

Q: After so many days, people are wondering why you have not declared that you are still a Muslim?

A: I cannot control other people's perception
Indeed, it is a very wise one. But obviously the reporter was not happy with the answer therfore he/she asked again the next question

Q: Are you a Muslim?

A: My mindset is trained differently. As a sailor, my stand is, I am a person who wants to know what is in front of my eyes and in my hands. What others want to say about me, I cannot control.
Do you wonder what is that in front of his eyes and his hands? Only he know!

Q: But you can use this opportunity to declare that you am still a Muslim! Just say yes or no.

A: Then we can go back? I also want to know what else you want to know from me.
Again?

Q: It is just whether you are a Muslim or not.

A: That's it?
And again?

Q: Before this we heard from a third party, so now we want to hear it from you.

A: If I say that, you will all leave this room. I would also like to get to know you all too. Sometimes I wonder, why people want to know which shirt I am wearing, why I am wearing shorts. Why do you want to know this? In fact, I have certain responsibilities which I have to adhere to and that is what I should concentrate on. Meaning, if all of you want to know, I was born in Perlis as a Malay Muslim. My father is a Muslim, my family and siblings are Muslims. My own family members are also Muslims. So, I feel the issue of the status of my religion does not arise at all. That should not be questioned at all. If you want to ask me that just based on the Internet and SMS, that is why I do not want to entertain this kind of things. This is a sensitive matter. But my father, my children, my siblings are Muslims. So there is no need for this question to arise. And I have never, in this country or in any other parts of the world, that I have applied to renounce Islam. And I have never thought about doing that. That was what surprised me. But I don't want you to leave now that I have answered you.
OMG, and again?

Q: The perception still persists because in the recent press statement there was nothing from you to say you are still a Muslim. That is what people want to know.

A: If I say that, if I say I am a Muslim from the very beginning, you mean that's the end of the story?
What a repitition!

Q: Yes. That's it. Another thing, can you say the Kalimah Syahadah now? Everyone will keep quiet after this.

A: Did your mother ever ask you to say it? My father has never asked me to say it until now. Because we have said it many times, we say it everytime in our prayers.
What's your comment?

Q: Then only this matter will not arise again later.

A: No. Cannot. I am not going to do that. This is not the Judgment Day for me to be questioned like this. When the day comes, nobody will know where we will end up going. It is not a matter of saying it or trying to please your ears. (Bukan atas ungkapan itu atau bukan atas nak bagi sedap telinga)
Good answer, Datuk, i really admire you! Nobody will know where we will end up going, so please my fellow blogger, this people will go to heaven and this people will go to hell. God will decide!

Q: Our intention is only to clarify things for the public.

A: I understand. If you see me in Langkawi, we would understand each other even better. My work is related to many people, including those from overseas. Obviously, I would always be hanging out with the white men. So, when I sit with them, people will say I am not a Muslim. It's tough on me.
Very good intention, indeed - that his/her responsibility as reporter!

Q: Where are you based now?

A: I am based in Langkawi, as in my responsibilities. My home, as in family, is in KL. And those are the two places that I have been, other than going on short trips on business.

Hamid: I would like to explain, for everyone of us, as long as one does not renounce his religion, he remains in his original religion. There is no need for one to repeat whether he is Muslim or not.
Good explaination, indeed, eventhough Azhar did not touch on that one in his answer at all

Q (to Azhar): On the SMS incident, are you going to take action against anyone?

A: That is already under police investigation. When the SMS first came out I did not lodge any police report. But when the matter was prolonged, I felt it was better for me to make a police report to protect myself. Now we just wait for the police report and any further development. I cannot say anything else as of now.
Cool, that clearly shows who you are, not simply responded blindly, to some rumors like most people will do.

Q: Are you saying that what is contained in the SMS is a fitnah (accusation/defamation/slander)?

A: I am not used to using that kind of word. I would never say anything if I see someone wearing shorts, or drinking in a coffee shop or in a bar. That is his personal matter. We should take care of our own selves. If we want to question whether one is a Muslim or a Christian, it would be tough. But all I know, my responsibility, my stand, my faith is in Allah. So, don't question me now and I am only living my daily life in Malaysia according to the Syariah teaching and country's regulations. I have never committed any offence. If you want to ask whether one is a Muslim or not, it is better for you to ask the rapists. That is better. Don't ask me that. I was only doing my job in langkawi. I have never disturbed anybody. It is the others who always disturbed me.

Husainay: The conclusion is, Azhar is still a Muslim. I think we better make it clear. So, let us end this session.
That also shows who you really are! Conclusion is a only a conclusion, right?

Q: Do you think the SMS has something to do with your business relations?

Azhar: I don't know. I will wait and see the outcome of the police investigation. If I can get hold of the finding, perhaps I can think of what to do next. But now I do not want to think about it. Now I just want to stay to follow the assembly and later go back to Langkawi to continue with my work. But I will be wearing my shorts. Is it okay with you guys if I wear shorts?

Hamid: But we must be clear that in Islam, faith is one aspect, while behaviour is another aspect. They are not inter-connected. So if a citizen was caught stealing, he is guilty and considered a criminal, but his citizenship remains. It will not be abolished. Islam is also like that. If a Muslim does not practise the Islamic teaching, that is another story, but his faith in Islam remains. It will not be affected.

PS: I would really appreciate if someone can elaborate more on this.

Q: After this, would your daily life be affected?

A: Azhar: No, it will not affect me. It is just that sometimes, I think, is our country this bad to the extent I have to take action to protect my family? Should that happen, I would be very much shocked. But for me, I am too engrossed with my responsibilities. I have never worked but I have a lot of responsibilities. And at this opportunity, I would like to say, being the unofficial ambassador of Langkawi, I would like to invite you all to come to Langkawi if you want to go for a holiday. Then you can see me in shorts.

Azhar confirms he has not renounced Islam

KUALA LUMPUR: National mariner Datuk Azhar Mansor has put an end to widespread speculation that he had become a Christian.

He said he had not submitted an application in any country to renounce the religion he was born into.

“I have never even planned to submit any application to renounce Islam,” he told a press conference on the sidelines of the Umno general assembly at the Putra World Trade Centre here yesterday.

He was invited to the assembly as an observer.

When a reporter asked Azhar to proclaim the Islamic syahadah (affirmation of being a Muslim) to prove that he was still a Muslim, Azhar retorted by asking if the reporter’s mother had ever asked him to make such proclamation.

Azhar said people should not keep on harping on his religious status, emphasising that his father, brother, children and late mother were all Muslims.

He also denied speculation that he had migrated to Australia.

“I am working in Langkawi, and my family is staying in Kuala Lumpur,” Azhar said, adding that rumours that he had renounced Islam had been circulating on the Internet since 1999.

Religious adviser to the Prime Minister Tan Sri Dr Abdul Hamid Othman and Umno executive secretary Brig-Jen (Rtd) Datuk Husainay Hussin had called for the press conference.

Azhar's religious affiliation attracted media attention after a group of people staged a protest outside a church in Ipoh after receiving SMSes claiming that he would be baptising 600 Malay students on Nov 5. The message turned out to be false.

Husainay said that based on Azhar’s explanation, it can be concluded that Azhar was still a Muslim.

“We also wanted him to say his piece after the injustice done to him. He was wrongfully implicated in rumours leading to religious conflict that threatened national security,” he said.

Later, party president Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, while delivering his winding-up speech, referred to Azhar's announcement and said the matter should now be put to rest.

I believe Husainay and some people has made a conclusion that Datuk Azhar Mansor is still a Muslim. But i personally believe that many people will never put tha matter to rest. Let us summarize the facts on which the conclusion was made upon:

1. Azhar said he had not submitted an application in any country to renounce the religion he was born into.

That is true, that Azhar never submitted application to renounce Islam. Lina Joy application is the very first case known to public. Azhar knows very well, that if he were to submit the application, the whole Malaysia will put into chaos. No need to mention submitting of appilication, SMS rumor alone already made Muslims stirred up with anger and hatred. Think about that!

2. Azhar said people should not keep on harping on his religious status, emphasising that his father, brother, children and late mother were all Muslims.

He is definitely correct! Why would people keep on harping on his religious status? He was indirectly saying, "Mind your own business! Give me freedom to practice the religion of my choice!" Yeah, we have lot more of important thing to do! One of those is to make sure you are guranteed a place in heaven. How? Seek and you will find the truth! Reread the underline phrase, you see something is missing there?

3. He also denied speculation that he had migrated to Australia.

To this, we cannot argue because he himself confessed that the family is staying in Kuala Lumpur.

Woman responsible for 'Azhar Mansor' SMS gets 48 hours to report to the Police

Police want the woman responsible for the “Datuk Azhar Mansor” SMS to contact them within the next 48 hours to facilitate investigations into the issue.

They will publish Raja Sherina’s photograph if she fails to do so.

Perak police chief Datuk Abdul Aziz Bulat said she may be charged under the Sedition Act or the Multimedia and Communications Act for causing public unrest.

The New Straits Times learnt that the woman in her 40s is unemployed and staying in Sungai Petani, Kedah.

It was also learnt that she also went by the names Raja Norashikin Raja Azman and Shireen.

Aziz said police wanted to record her statement regarding the SMS which alleged that several hundred Muslim students would be baptised by Azhar at the Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Silibin on Nov 5.

As it turned out, it was the first communion for 98 Indian children.

Aziz said police had obtained the photograph of the woman from a video clip handed to them by a member of the public.

“We just need to take down her statement before wrapping up the case."

He said police had tried to contact the woman on her handphone on numerous occasions but failed as it was switched off.

The woman had told Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Harussani Zakaria on Oct 22 that she had studied at the International Islamic University and Al-Azhar University in Cairo.

She also claimed that on her return from Egypt, she had been doing social work with Christian missionaries and had converted.

However, she claimed she later returned to Islam.

Police have so far questioned seven members of the public over the SMS.

Abdul Aziz did not rule out the possibility of one or two more being arrested in the next few days for circulating the SMS."

This will serve as a lesson to others," he said, urging the woman to contact DSP Shahadan Jaafar at 05-2451222.

Memang, berjuta-juta orang setiap hari berdoa kepada Allah, “Ya Allah, tunjukkan kepada kami jalan yang benar!.” Bahkan sepanjang kehidupannya dia berdoa meminta kepada Allah untuk ditunjukkan jalan yang benar. Mengapa ramai orang tidak pernah menemukan jalan yang benar ini? Jawapannya sungguh ringkas! Mereka tidak mahu atau memilih untuk tidak menerima kebenaran itu sendiri.

Ayat di atas itu adalah satu pernyataan yang sangat berkuasa. Tidak ada keselamatan di dalam siapapun juga melainkan di dalam Dia! Siapakah Dia ini?
Alkitab adalah satu sumber yang diakui oleh banyak agama. Alkitab adalah sumber yang telah diilhamkan oleh Allah melalui para rasulNya. Walaupun ramai orang percaya bahawa Alkitab itu telah diubah-ubah, sehingga sekarang, belum dapat dibuktikan dengan nyata bahawa Alkitab itu telah diubah.

Alkitab menyatakan di dalam Yohanes 14:6, Kata Yesus kepadanya: “Akulah jalan dan kebenaran dan hidup. Tidak ada seorangpun yang datang kepada Bapa (Allah), kalau tidak melalui Aku.

Jadi saudara, Dia ini adalah Yesus Kristus yang juga dikenal ramai orang sebagai Isa Almasih. Siapakah Yesus Kristus ini?
Jika kita merujuk kepada sumber-sumber tertentu, Yesus Kristus adalah Anak yang telah dilahirkan oleh seorang dara, iaitu Maria tanpa proses biologi seperti manusia biasa. Kelahiran Yesus Kristus itu sendiri adalah sesuatu keajaiban ataupun mukjizat. Alkitab mencatatkan di dalam Matius 1:18 menyatakan, Kelahiran Yesus Kristus adalah seperti berikut: Pada waktu Maria, ibuNya, bertunangan dengan Yusuf, ternyata ia mengandung dari Roh Kudus, sebelum mereka hidup sebagai suami isteri.

Mukjizat kelahiran Yesus ini rupa-rupanya telah dinubuatkan di dalam Kitab Perjanjian Lama, atau yang dipanggil juga Kitab Taurat. Kitab Yesaya 7:14 mencatatkan nubuat tersebut, Sebab itu Tuhan sendirilah yang akan memberikan kepadamu suatu petanda: Sesungguhnya, seorang perempuan muda mengandung dan akan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan ia akan menamakan Dia Imanuel.

Nubuat kitab Yesaya itu telah digenapi dengan lahirnya Tuhan Yesus Kristus ke dunia. Apakah ertinya kelahiran Tuhan Yesus Kristus ke dunia? Di dalam Matius 1:23 menyatakan suatu kebenaran yang sangat besar ertinya kepada umat manusia. “Sesungguhnya, anak dara itu akan mengandung dan melahirkan seorang anak laki-laki, dan mereka akan menamakan Dia Imanuel” – yang berarti: Allah menyertai kita.

Apakah ertinya ini kepada kita? Ertinya ialah Allah menyertai kita di dunia ini melalui kelahiran dan kehadiran Yesus Kristus di dunia. Ini bermakna, Allah sendiri wujud di tengah-tengah umat manusia pada zaman hidupnya Tuhan Yesus Kristus.

Namun ada misi terbesar yang Allah telah rencanakan melalui kelahiran Tuhan Yesus. Misi ini adalah untuk menyelamatkan umatNya dari dosa mereka. Matius 1:21, Ia akan melahirkan anak laki-laki dan engkau (Yusuf) akan menamakan Dia Yesus, karena Dialah yang akan menyelamatkan umatNya dari dosa mereka.” Oh, alangkah indahnya Nama ini, Isa Almasih, iaitu Yesus Kristus yang datang ke dunia untuk menyelamatkan umatNya daripada dosa mereka.

Adakah wujud seorang nabi lain di antara nabi-nabi yang pernah wujud yang telah menyatakan bahawa dia dapat menyelamatkan umat manusia? Jawapannya sangat jelas, bahawa tidak ada nama lain di bawah kolong langit ini yang diberikan kepada manusia yang olehnya kita diselamatkan. Tidak ada! Hanya Yesus yang dapat menyelamatkan anda dan saya!
Kita hanya akan merasakan kemerdekaan atau kebebasan yang sebenar di dalam Yesus. Kita hanya akan dapat menikmati kemerdekaan yang sebenar di dalam Isa Almasih. Yohanes 8:36, Jadi apabila Anak itu (Yesus) memerdekakan kamu, kamu pun benar-benar merdeka.

Kemerdekaan apakah yang ditawarkan oleh Yesus Kristus?

Kemerdekaan daripada dosa kita.

Saudara, tidak ada seorangpun di dalam dunia ini yang tidak berbuat dosa. Bahkan dosa telah ada di Taman Eden, dosa pertama yang dilakukan oleh manusia pertama, Adam dan Hawa. Firman Tuhan jelas, mengatakan bahawa, Karena semua orang telah berbuat dosa dan telah kehilangan kemuliaan Allah. Roma 3:23
Allah, Bapa kita yang Maha Pengasih, Penyayang dan Pengampun tidak akan membiarkan kita anak-anakNya terus binasa di dalam dosa kita. Dia terlalu mengasihi kita sehingga Dia telah merencanakan penebusan dosa kita melalui Anaknya Isa Almasih, sehingga kita dapat dimerdekan daripada dosa kita.

Yohanes 3:16 manyatakan, Karena begitu besar kasih Allah akan dunia ini, sehingga Ia telah mengaruniakan AnakNya yang tunggal, supaya SETIAP ORANG YANG PERCAYA kepadaNya tidak binasa, melainkan beroleh hidup yang kekal. Sebab Allah mengutus AnakNya ke dalam dunia bukan untuk menghakimi dunia, melainkan untuk menyelamatkannya oleh Dia. (Yesus).

Roma 3:28, Yesus Kristus telah ditentukan Allah menjadi jalan pendamaian karena iman, dalam darahNya. Hal ini dibuatNya untuk menunjukkan keadilanNya, karena Ia telah membiarkan dosa-dosa yang telah terjadi pada masa kesabaranNya.

Kemerdekaan daripada sakit penyakit.

Yesaya 53:4-5, Tetapi sesungguhnya, penyakit kitalah yang ditanggungnya, dan kesengsaraan kitalah yang dipikulnya, padahal kita mengira dia kena tulah, dipukul dan ditindas Allah. Tetapi dia tertikam oleh karena pemberontakan kita, dia diremukkan oleh karena kejahatan kita; ganjaran yang mendatangkan keselamatan bagi kita ditimpakan kepadanya, dan oleh bilur-bilurnya kita menjadi sembuh.

Kamatian Yesus Kristus di kayu salib bukan hanya untuk menanggung dosa dan pelanggaran kita, tetapi juga Dia telah mati untuk membebaskan kita daripada sakit penyakit kita. Jika kita percaya bahawa Tuhan Yesus telah mati untuk memerdekakan kita daripada dosa dan pelanggaran kita, kita harus juga percaya bahawa Allah telah meletakkan sakit penyakit kita ke atasNya supaya kita dapat disembuhkan.

Kita perlu tahu bahawa iblis adalah pencipta segala macam penyakit, bukan Allah. Namun iblis membohongi (itu adalah sifat semulajadinya – penipu, pembohong, pencuri dsb) manusia sehingga kita percaya bahawa Allah telah meletakkan penyakit ke atas mereka. Atau iblis cuba untuk membuat manusia percaya bahawa Allah menggunakan penyakit untuk menghajar kita. Ini adalah satu tipu muslihat iblis. Allah tidak memerlukan setan untuk mengajar kita. Ini adalah fikiran dan persepsi yang salah terhadap Allah.

Kesembuhan adalah satu bahagian daripada pakej keselamatan yang ditawarkan Allah melalui kematian Tuhan Yesus. Jangan terpedaya dengan tipu muslihat iblis. Yesus Kristus boleh menyembuhkan anda daripada segala penyakit yang anda alami jika anda percaya kepadaNya. Saudara, ada kuasa di dalam Nama Isa Almasih, Yesus Kristus yang telah mati bagi anda.
Di dalam sejarah pelayanan Yesus Kristus di dunia, Dia telah bertemu dengan banyak orang sakit, dan mereka telah disembuhkan. Kuasa penyembuhan itu bukan hanya ada pada zaman Yesus, tetapi juga sekarang ini! Saudara, Tuhan Yesus boleh menyembuhkan anda. Panggil NamaNya dan percayalah kepadaNya.

Yesus Kristus, yang dipanggil Isa Almasih itu adalah jalan menuju kepada Bapa. Sebelum kita meninggalkan dunia ini, kita harus ada kepastian keselamatan ini di dalam kehidupan kita. Carilah Kebenaran itu sementara masih ada waktu, kerena apabila, Isa Almasih datang untuk mengadili dunia, tidak ada waktu untuk bertobat lagi. Inilah waktunya untuk kita mendapatkan kepastian itu.
Yohanes 4:16, Kata Yesus kepadanya, Akulah jalan, kebenaran dan hidup. Tidak ada seorangpun yang dating kepada Bapa jika tidak melalui Aku.

UMNO in Sarawak? Why Should It?

This piece by Mohamad Abdullah in the todays paper, Borneo Post brought me to dig the definition of UMNO in the Wikipedia.

1. There is certain quarters (this happened also few years ago) try to bring Umno into Sarawak through the back door!

2. These "opportunistic individuals" trying to get the people here (in Sarawak) to accept Umno spreading its wing into Sarawak.

3. They were trying to confuse the people into believing that Umno;s entry had been given the blessing of top leaders from the state and Federal BN.

4. According to Datuk Daud, there is no need for Umno to be in Sarawak.

5. These quaters were eager to bring in Umno as opportunists.

6. They wanted to see Sarawakians disunited for the sake of their own agenda.

7. They even claimed that they had been asked by certain leaders in the Federal government to bring Umno into Sarawak.

8.They have their own agenda.

To understand Sarawak itself, i want to invite readers to visit Sarawak here. Sarawak has more than 40 ethnic groups with their own distinct language, culture and lifestyle. Cities and larger towns are populated predominantly by Iban, Malays, Melanaus, Chinese, and a smaller percentage of other ethnics.

To relate this to the article above, i coudn't have agree more with Datuk Daud that there is no need for Umno to enter Sarawak as its role is alraedy played by other BN other component parties like PBB, SUPP, SPDP and PRS. There is no need for more division for people in Sarawak if another party were to come in.

The harmony between many races in Sarawak is what we are proud of. And we are to protect the harmonious environment that we have here in Sarawak against these certain quarters that wanted to see Sarawakians disunited for the sake of their own poilitical agenda.

I do not know whether this applies to the Muslim community in Malaysia, but it is very threatening to the family institution as it seems the law is making it easier for a man to divorce his wife. Jakarta, 13 Nov. (AKI) - Divorcing by email is possible under Islamic law or Sharia, according to an Indonesian researcher. Said Fierza Luthfyana, a law student at the Ubaya University in the country's second-largest city Surabaya, was quoted by Indoneisan news agency Antara as saying that a man can send an email to an attorney or a friend stating he wants to divorce his wife and simply ask the person he has chosen to read it to his spouse in front of a Sharia tribunal for the deed to be done.
Under Sharia, a man has to tell his wife he wants to divorce her in person, Luthfyana noted.For this reason, according to the researcher, "the husband needs to send the email to someone else and not directly to his wife. He can send it to a friend, a family member or anyone he trusts.""It is important that the 'talak' (statement in which a husband expresses the will to divorce) is expressed verbally," the researcher also explained, even if it is someone else who reads it out. "If the email is sent directly to the woman, however it is not legitimate because there is no verbal statement." Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country. Sharia is applied in some provinces of the archipelago.

Will that ever happen? Human is very arrogant, they have stepped beyond the boundary of God's rule and the we can see the reslut in the world that we are living in today.

Let us begin to start ponder upon the commandment and have pur life reconciled with God.

Azhar Mansor masih beragama Islam – Shahidan Kassim

KANGAR 10 Nov. – Pelayar solo negara, Datuk Azhar Mansor masih beragama Islam dan dakwaan kononnya beliau telah menganuti agama lain tidak benar sama sekali.
Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Shahidan Kassim yang menerima kunjungan Azhar di pejabatnya, di sini hari ini memberitahu, pelayar tersebut yang berasal dari Perlis telah menjelaskan segala-galanya kepada beliau.

Menurutnya, Azhar juga melaksanakan tanggungjawabnya sebagai seorang Islam termasuk menunaikan solat waktu dan sembahyang Jumaat, malah mengerjakan solat sunat tarawih pada bulan Ramadan lalu.

‘‘Khidmat pesanan ringkas (SMS) itu tidak betul, Azhar seorang Islam,” katanya yang juga Timbalan Yang Dipertua Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Istiadat Melayu Negeri Perlis (MAIPs) ketika merujuk mengenai SMS yang mendakwa Azhar telah menganut agama lain dan cuba mengkristiankan orang Islam di Ipoh baru-baru ini.

Bercakap kepada pemberita di pejabatnya di sini selepas menerima kunjungan tersebut, Shahidan berkata, Azhar kini menguruskan perniagaan di Langkawi dan banyak berurusan dengan orang asing yang membuat pelaburan di pulau pelancongan itu.
Ditanya kenapa Azhar sendiri tidak menafikan dakwaan beliau murtad, Menteri Besar menjawab:
‘‘Apa yang orang nafi dalam surat khabar yang orang tidak kata balik. Perdana Menteri nafi pun orang kata... tak, tak betul. Itu Perdana Menteri, dia (Azhar) sebagai orang biasa, bayangkan kalau dia nafi dan orang kata tidak betul.”
Azhar juga katanya, enggan memberi penjelasan berhubung isu SMS baru-baru ini kerana tidak mahu ia disalahertikan dan terus menjadi isu.

Tambahnya, pelayar negara itu juga menyerahkan kepada pihak berkuasa untuk menyiasat tentang penyebaran SMS tersebut dan berserah kepada Allah dalam isu berkenaan.
Perjumpaan tersebut berlangsung kira-kira dua jam dan turut dihadiri oleh Mufti Perlis, Dr. Asri Zainol Abidin.

Bagaimanapun Azhar enggan berjumpa dengan wakil media selepas kunjungan itu dan menurut Shahidan, kerajaan negeri akan mengeluarkan satu kenyataan rasmi berhubung isu berkenaan Isnin ini.

‘‘Pejabat Mufti juga tidak menyiasat Azhar, kami hanya berjumpa. Kami tidak pernah tuduh apa-apa pun (terhadap Azhar),” ujarnya.
Mengenai penyebaran dakwaan terhadap Azhar yang dikatakan murtad di internet, beliau mengingatkan bukan semua laporan dalam Internet itu betul, malah beliau sendiri pernah menjadi mangsa seperti itu.

I am just wondering why Azhar would not speak up for himself. Why the statements have to come from his brother, Perlis MB, the Mufti and other parties? Unless Azhar comes out with his own statement on his religious status, people will still be questioning.

Ulema allows abortion for rape victims

I was browsing through the Borneo Post today and came across this rather shocking article. I invite who has broad knowledge about abortion be it from religious perspective or scholars point of view or even your own view as an individual human being.

JAKARTA, Indonesia: The Indonesian Council of Ulema, the highest authority on Islam in the world's largest Muslim nation, has decreed that victims of rape should be allowed to have an abortion, the council's deputy chairman said yesterday.
"In rape cases, pregnancy is forced on the victims. It is not planned or wanted pregnancy," Ma'aruf Amin told AFP. But he added that the recently issued fatwa also mentioned that abortion was only permitted if the foetus was not yet 40 days old."
"At the age of 40 days after pregnancy, the foetus already a soul...so that to prevant the taking of life the abortion should be conducted before the 40th day of pregnancy," Amin said. He said that abortion was also allowed if the situation threatened the life of the mother.
The state Antara news agency, quoting research by a foundation for women's health, said that about two million Indonesian women underwent abortions in 2004

1Pada mulanya Allah menciptakan langit dan bumi. 2Bumi belum berbentuk dan kosong; gelap gulita menutupi samudera raya, dan Roh Allah melayang-layang di atas permukaan air.
3Berfirmanlah Allah: "Jadilah terang." Lalu terang ituj adi. 4Allah melihat bahwa terang itu baik, lalu dipisahkanNyalah terang itu dari geLap. 5Dan Allah menamai terang itu siang, dan gelap itu malam. Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, itulah hari pertama.

6Berfirmanlah Allah: "Jadilah cakrawala di tengah segala air untuk memisahkan air dari air." 7Maka Allah menjadikan cakrawala dan Ia memisahkan air yang ada di bawah cakrawala itu dari air yang ada di atasnya. Dan jadilah demikian. 8Lalu Allah menamai cakrawala itu langit. Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, itulah hari kedua.

14Berfirmanlah Allah: "Jadilah benda-benda penerang pada cakrawala untuk memisahkan siang dari malam. Biarlah benda-benda penerang itu menjadi tanda yang menunjukkan masa-masa yang tetap dan hari-hari dan tahun-tahun, 15dan sebagai penerang pada cakrawala biarlah benda-benda itu menerangi bumi." Dan jadilah demikian. 16Maka Allah menjadikan kedua benda penerang yang itu, yakni yang lebih besar untuk menguasai siang dan yang lebih kecil untuk menguasai malam, dan menjadikan juga bintang-bintang.

17Allah menaruh semuanya itu di cakrawala untuk menerangi bumi, 18dan untuk menguasai siang dan malam, dan untuk memisahkan terang dari gelap. Allah melihat bahawa semuanya itu baik. 19Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, itulah hari keempat.

20Berfirmanlah Allah: "Hendaklah dalam air berkeriapan makhluk yang hidup, dan hendaklah burung beterbangan di atas bumi melintasi cakrawala." 21Maka Allah menciptakan binatang-binatang laut yang besar dan segala jenis makhluk hidup yang bergerak, yang berkeriapan dalam air, dan segala jenis burung yang bersayap. Allah melihat bahwa semuanya itu baik. Lalu Allah memberkati semuanya itu, firmanNya: "Berkembangbiaklah dan bertambah banyaklah serta penuhilah air dalam laut, dan hendaklah burung-burung di bumi bertambah banyak." 23Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, itulah hari kelima.

24Berfirmanlah Allah: "Hendaklah bumi mengeluarkan segala jenis makhluk yang hidup, ternak dan binatang melata dan segala jenis binatang liar." Dan jadilah demikian. 25Allah menjadikan segala jenis binatang liar dan segala jenis ternak dan segala jenis binatang melata di muka bumi. Allah melihat bahwa semuanya itu baik.

26Berfirmanlah Allah: "Baiklah Kita menjadikan manusia menurut gambar dan rupa Kita, supaya mereka berkuasa atas ikan-ikan di laut dan burung-burung di udara dan atas ternak dan atas seluruh bumi dan atas segala binatang melata yang merayap di bumi." 27Maka Allah menciptakan manusia itu menurut gambarNya, menurut gambar Allah diciptakanNya dia; laki-laki dan perempuan diciptakanNya mereka. 28Allah memberkati mereka, lalu Allah berfirman kepada mereka: "Beranakcuculah dan bertambah banyak; penuhilah bumi dan taklukkanlah itu, berkuasalah atas ikan-ikan di laut dan burung-burung di udara dan atas segala binatang yang merayap di bumi."

29Berfirmanlah Allah: "Lihatlah, Aku memberikan kepadamu segala tumbuh-tumbuhan yang berbiji di seluruh bumi dan segala pohon-pohonan yang buahnya berbiji; itulah akan menjadi makananmu. 30Tetapi kepada segala binatang di bumi dan segala burung di udara dan segala yang merayap di bumi, yang bernyawa, Kuberikan segala tumbuh-tumbuhan hijau menjadi makanannya." Dan jadilah demikian. 31Maka Allah melihat segala yang dijadikanNya itu, sungguh amat baik. Jadilah petang dan jadilah pagi, dan itulah hari keenam.

KEJADIAN 2:1-7

1Demikianlah diselesaikan langit dan bumi dan segala isinya. 2Ketika Allah pada hari ketujuh telah menyelesaikan pekerjaan yang dibuatNya itu, berhentilah Ia pada hari ketujuh dari segala pekerjaan yang dibuatNya itu. 3Lalu Allah memberkati hari ketujuh itu dan menguduskannya, karena pada hari itulah Ia berhenti dari segala pekerjaan penciptaan yang telah dibuatNya itu.

4Demikianlah riwayat langit dan bumi pada waktu dicipatakan.

My heart goes to her son! I have a son of 4 and half of age and could not imagine him going through this very hearthbreaking incident. Attantuya Sariibu @ Aminah Abdullah was murdered brutally, execution-style somewhere in Puncak Alam. One will never imagine this will happen in peaceful Malaysia, but behold, it has already happened.

You see, this incident has very much to do with the 10 Commanments:
The 6th Commandment: Do not kill.
The 7th Commandment: Do not commit adultery.

I believe God knows best what that means when He came out with the 10 Commandments. Yes, the 10 Commandments were delivered to Moses for the people of Israel, but don't you think they apply to each and everyone of us too? A sin will create another sin, and another sin and another sin.....

I am not going to point my finger to Abdul Razak Baginda and the three police personnels that have been detained to assist the investigation on this murder case. If they are prooved to be the murderers, may God have mercy on them. As human, it is up to us to react to the outcome of the case. But remember that God is the Judge of all judge.

To brief readers of the chronology of the case, I will rewrite the information extract from the media reports:

October 9
Aminah, her sister Altantuya and their cousin check into a hotel in the city;s Chinatown distrct.

October 10
They have meeting with a private investigator whose services they have engaged. The investigator went to work and his clients spent the next few days as tourists. Several days later, the investigator meets up with the political analyst (Abd Razak) at his office and allegedly makes certain demands on behalf of his client.

October 15
Political Analyst lodged a police report, alleging that he was being intimidated by certain individuals.

Several days later, Aminah turns up at the political analyst office's building but turned away by a security guard. She told the guard to pass message to the political analyst that she was pregnant with his child.

October 19
Aminah and her sister turned up at the PA home in Bukit Damansara in a taxi. A security stopped her from entering and warned her to leave. She left and returned to the hotel after being threatened by the guard. Several hours later, she left the hotel. That was the last time she was seen alive.

October 21
Aminah's sister lodged a police report, saying that her sister has been missing. She identified the PA as a prime suspect.
The PA lodged a police report alleging he had been a victim of a major extortion, and had been harrased by unidentified individuals.
Police begin probe. A woman detective from the anti-vice and gaming branch in PJ is arrested.

October 26
A Chief Inspector from the Special Action Squad at the Federal police headquarters is the second personnel nabbed.

November 6
Police seized close circuit surveillance camera recordings from the hotel where the women had been residing. A third police personnel is taken into custody.

November 7
A police party arrested the PA at his office in Jalan Ampang. After combing an area near Puncak Alam in Shah Alam, forensic team found bone fragments believed to be that of Aminah.

Azhar - A Victim of Nasty Rumours

We are a little bit taken aback with the recent SMS case pertaining to Datuk Azhar Mansor would baptize a group of Malay converted to Christianity at a church in Ipoh on Sunday, 5th November 2006. The SMS had been circulated about a week before the said date.

When asked about the status of his religion whether or not he has converted to Christianity, Datuk Azhar has not deny the claim publicly but rather let the authorities investigate and hope people will be patient and not jump to conclusions which will not benefit anyone.

Azhar was reported as saying "I could not have done what was alleged in the SMS on Sunday because I was working at the yacht marina in Telaga Harbour, Langkawi just as I have done for the past four years."

Well, all we can do at the moment is wait until the authorities has done with their investigation and i believe sooner or later, all the speculations about Datuk Azhar Mansor will be answered.

Ini Kesepuluh Firman yang telah di berikan Allah kepada Musa untuk diturunkan kepada orang Israel. Saya percaya Kesepuluh Firman ini juga masih mesti diikuti oleh setiap orang. Apabila kita menuruti semua Kesepuluh Firman ini, sudah tentu kita akan hidup damai. Tetapi manusia sudah terlalu jauh dan ingkar untuk menurut perintah Allah.

Perintah Pertama (Ayat 3)
Jangan ada padamu allah lain di hadapan-Ku

Perintah Kedua (Ayat 4, 5 dan 6)
4Jangan membuat bagimu patung yang menyerupai apapun yang ada di langit di atas, atau yang ada di bumi di bawah, atau yang ada di dalam air di bawah bumi. 5Jangan sujud menyembah kepadanya atau beribadah kepadanya, sebab Aku, TUHAN, Allahmu adalah Allah yang cemburu, yang membalas kesalahan bapa kepada anak-anaknya, kepada keturunan yang ketiga dan keempat dari orang-orang yang membenci Aku, 6tetapi Aku menunjukkan kasih setia kepada beribu-ribu orang, yaitu mereka yang mengasihi Aku dan yang berpegang pada perintah-perintahKu.

Perintah Ketiga (Ayat 7)
7Jangan menyebut nama TUHAN, Allahmu, dengan sembarangan, sebab TUHAN akan memandang bersalah orang yang menyebut namaNya dengan sembarangan.

Perintah Keempat (Ayat 8, 9, 10, dan 11)
8Ingatlah dan kuduskanlah hari Sabat: 9enam hari lamanya engkau akan bekerja dan melakukan segala pekerjaanmu, 10tetapi hari ketujuh adalah hari Sabat TUHAN, Allahmu; maka jangan melakukan sesuatu pekerjaan, engkau atau anakmu laki-laki, atau anakmu perempuan, atau hambamu laki-laki, atau hambamu perempuan, atau hewanmu atau orang asing yang di tempat kediamanmu. 11Sebab enam hari lamanya TUHAN menjadikan langit dan bumi, laut dan segala isinya, dan Ia berhenti pada hari ketujuh; itulah sebabnya TUHAN memberkati hari Sabat dan menguduskannya.

Perintah Kelima (Ayat 12)
12Hormatilah ayahmu dan ibumu, supaya lanjut umurmu di tanah yang diberikan TUHAN, Allahmu, kepadamu.

Perintah Keenam (Ayat 13)
13Jangan membunuh.

Perintah Ketujuh (Ayat 14)
14Jangan berzinah.

Perintah Kelapan (Ayat 15)
15Jangan mencuri.

Perintah Kesembilan (Ayat 16)
16Jangan mengucapkan saksi dusta.

Perintah Kesepuluh (Ayat 17)
17Jangan mengingini rumah sesamamu; jangan mengingini isterinya, atau hambanya laki-laki, atau hambanya perempuan, atau lembunya atu keledainya, atau apapun yang dipunyai sesamamu.”

Daripada ringkasan ini, kita boleh memperhatikan bahawa hukum 1,2,3 dan 4 adalah sangat berkait rapat atau memang berbicara tentang kasih kita kepada Allah. Sementara itu, hukum 5, 6,7,8,9, dan 10 itu berbicara tentang kasih kita kepada sesama manusia. Sebab itu, dasar sebenar iman seorang Kristian itu adalah kasihnya kepada Allah dan juga kasihnya kepada sesamanya manusia.

Tetapi sebelum mengupasnya dengan lebih lanjut, saya ingin mengajak kita semua untuk bukan sahaja membaca, tetapi merenungkan dengan lebih dalam lagi tentang kesepuluh firman ini. Dengan merenungkan Kesepuluh Firman ini, kita juga secara tidak langsung dapat menyelami dan menyelidiki hati kita masing-masing sejauh mana kita sudah mengaplikasikannya di dalam hidup kita seharian. Sementara saya menulis ini, secara jujurnya, ia menginsafkan saya bahawa saya masih TERLALU JAUH untuk mencapai kesepuluh firman ini. (From the very bottom of my heart, I sincerely admit that, I have not achieved or fulfill even few percent of the commandments.)

Mengapa saya berkata demikian? Saya ingin menjawab soalan ini juga dengan persoalan-persoalan di bawah ini. Adakah saya pasti bahawa saya tidak mempunyai allah lain di dalam kehidupan saya? Saudara yang dikasihi Allah, saya pernah mendengar beberapa hamba Tuhan mengatakan bahawa jika kita meletakkan hal-hal lain lebih utama daripada Allah di dalam kehidupan kita, hal-hal lain itu dianggap sebagai allah lain di dalam kehidupan kita.

Adakah saya pasti bahawa saya tidak membuat dan menyimpan patung dalam hidup saya? Saya percaya patung ini adalah simbolik kepada perkara-perkara atau barang-barang yang kita rasa lebih utama dan penting di dalam kehidupan kita. Kerjaya kita contohnya, boleh menjadi patung apabila kita sampai lupa Tuhan kerana terlalu mementingkan kerjaya kita. Wang juga boleh menjadi patung bila kita terlalu mencari wang hingga lupa kepada Allah.

Kita boleh mengambil masa untuk menyemak diri kita untuk perintah-perintah yang seterusnya itu. Tetapi saya ingin berbicara sedikit tentang hukum yang kelima iaitu hormatilah ayahmu dan ibumu, supaya lanjut umurmu di tanah yang diberikan TUHAN Allahmu kepadamu. Saya ingin mengajak kita untuk lebih mempraktikkan ini di dalam keluarga kita di Long Panai. Bagi yang masih mempunyai ayah dan ibu, tolong kasihi dan hormati mereka ketika mereka masih ada. Kalau sebelum ini kita kurang memperhatikan mereka, kurang memberi kasih sayang kepada mereka, menyakiti hati mereka dengan tindakan dan kata-kata kita, tolong ambil masa untuk meminta maaf dan mengasihi mereka seadanya mereka sementara mereka masih ada dengan kita.

Saya kehilangan seorang ayah yang paling dekat di hati saya. Seperti yang telah saya katakan, tidak adapun satu hari yang berlalu tanpa saya teringatkan bapa saya mendiang Wan Luhat. Hanya Tuhan tahu kerinduan saya kepada dia dan saya sering berkata “Kalaulah….kalaulah saya boleh memberikan segala keinginan hatinya, saya akan lakukan….” Tetapi saya puji Tuhan kerana hanya Tuhan yang mampu memberikan kepadanya segala keinginan hatinya. Dan saya tahu bahawa Tuhan tahu apa yang terbaik bagi dia. Tetapi sementara ayah dan ibu masih ada, jagalah mereka sebaik mungkin.

Seperti yang saya katakan pada awal tadi, iman kita sebagai seorang Kristiian adalah didasarkan kepada kasih kita kepada Allah dan kasih kita kepada sesama manusia. Berbicara tentang ini saya ingin mengajak kita untuk merenungkan perintah yang terutama yang Yesus katakan kepada seorang ahli taurat di dalam Markus 12:28-34.

29Jawab Yesus: “Hukum yang terutama ialah: Dengarlah, hai orang Israel, Tuhan Allah kita, Tuhan itu esa. 30Kasihilah Tuhan Allahmu, dengan segenap hatimu dan dengan segenap jiwamu dan dengan segenap akal budimu dan dengan segenap kekuatanmu. 31Dan hukum yang kedua ialah: Kasihilah sesamamu manusia seperti dirimu sendiri. Tidak ada hukum lain yang lebih utama daripada kedua hukum ini.”

Saudara yang dikasihi Tuhan, Yesus berkata bahawa tidak ada hukum lain yang lebih utama daripada kedua hukum ini. Oleh itu jika kita sudah tahu tentangnya dan mempraktikkannya dalam kehidupan kita, Yesus berkata di dalam ayat 34:

34Yesus melihat, bagaimana bijaksananya jawab orang itu, dan Ia berkata kepadanya: “Engkau tidak jauh dari Kerajaan Allah!”

Saudara, saya sangat bersukacita jika saudara dan saya mendapat jaminan ini. Jaminan bahawa kita tidak jauh daripada Kerajaan Allah dan sudah tentu akan berada di dalam Kerajaan Allah apabila Yesus datang menjemput saudara dan saya kelak.
